Our office now offers a unique approach to patient care. There is no twisting, turning, “cracking” or “popping” of joints with KST; instead you receive gentle specific corrections to your spine and structural system. KST is very gentle and yet very powerful. Patients usually notice dramatic changes after the first visit.
KST adjustments are performed with an instrument called an ArthroStim® (seen in the picture to the right). It is effective for all ages and is a favorite in our office. The ArthroStim® instrument allows the doctor tremendous control over all adjustment variables. The ArthroStim® produces a succession of rapidly repeating, high velocity-low amplitude thrusts. The power of the thrusts can be changed from mere ounces of force, up to 40 pounds of thrusting force.
The ArthroStim® Instrument produces TWELVE thrusts a second. This frequency, known as the low beta somatomotor rhythm, is two to three times the rate of other multiple thrust instruments. This outstanding rapidity supersaturates the target area with specific adjustive energy/ forces. The energy continues to ripple through the joint to surrounding fringe tissues. This releases secondary trigger points and sites of muscular spasm, providing the relief and corrections that doctors want.
