Your body can be malfunctioning for months, even years before you experience any symptioms. Since symptoms are always the last to show and the first to go, it is important to monitor the function of the nervous system which is why Dr Youngblood utilizes the Insight Station.
His purpose for administering these tests is to detect and pinpoint abnormal function in the spine which cannot be seen on X-ray. Abnormal spinal function causes abnormal nervous system disturbance. These tests are completely non-invasive utilizing no needles, electrical shock, or heat.
Five technologies of the Insight Station:
Rolling Thermal Scanner
The thermal scan is used to asses the part of your nervous system that controls your organs, glands, and blood vessles. This is called your autonomic nervous system. This test will give the doctor a snap shot of how your autonomic system is working and how it is responding to care.
Algometer
This test measures the sensitivity of various locations to pressure to build a comprehensive map of the pattern of pain along your spine.
SEMG
This test shows the pattern of how energy is ditributed through your muscles identifying areas of abnormal tension and stress.
Pulse Wave Profiler
The pulse wave profiler helps Dr. Youngblood determine your heart's overall ability to adapt to the environment by looking at the timing of your pulse also know as heart rate variability.
Dual Inclinometer
The dual inclinometer measures the range of motion or the amount of movement in regions of your spine.
The Insight Subluxation Station is the only technology of its kind certified by the Space Foundation.
